Repair operator

The Repair operator allows you to repair various particle properties.


Implicit normals

  • Flip implicit normals: when selected, the order of all face vertices will be reversed, which will effectively flip all non-explicit mesh normals.

Explicit normals

  • Flip explicit normals: when selected, any assigned explicit vertex normals will be flipped.

  • Remove explicit normals: when selected, any assigned explicit vertex normals will be removed.

Transforms

  • Reset particle transforms: when enabled, all affected particles will have their transform reset to an identity matrix (with their original position and relative shape mesh scale/orientation preserved).

Resetting the transforms of particles will un-instance their meshes (beacuse a unique new mesh must be generated for each particle in order for each particle’s mesh to be re-oriented relative to their reset transform).
