The Terrain Snow operator can be used to place snow on terrain grids.
Grid names: terrain grids with matching names will have snow applied to them.
Color channel: when enabled, snow effects will be applied to the specified color channel.
Mask channel: when enabled, the mask of areas on a terrain grid affected by snow effects will be saved to the specified channel.
Color: the base color of snow effects.
Amount: the base depth of snow that will be applied to the terrain grid.
Compact snow is dense snow that follows the contours of the underlying terrain closely.
Spread: controls how compact snow is distributed over details on the terrain. Higher values will retain less detail.
Rest angle: controls the maximum terrain slope angle that can hold compact snow.
Rest height multiplier: artificially boosts the height of compact snow on the terrain grid.
Powder snow is light snow that forms softer/smooth piles/mounds on the underlying terrain grid.
Spread: controls how powder snow is distributed over details on the detail. Higher values will retain less detail.
Mount height: controls the height of snow mounds that form on the edges of areas affected by powder snow.
Slip angle: controls the maximum terrain slope angle that can hold powder snow.
Slip falloff: controls how powder snow smoothly falls off from areas satisfying the slip angle threshold.
Sunlight object: the object used to determine the location of the sun, relative to the terrain.
Melt amount: controls how much snow will melt on areas directly exposed to the sun.
